Nikki DeSerpa has established new college career marks in digs and services aces for the Marist University volleyball team.
The 6-foot-1 junior has 278 digs and 30 service aces through the teams first 28 matches. Her 346 kills are 18 off her career best with at least one more match remaining.
In three seasons at Marist, the former Notre Dame hitter has compiled 911 kills, 585 digs, 89 blocks and 77 service aces.
The Herald's Volleyball Player of the Year in 2015, DeSerpa led Notre Dame to two CCS titles and two Northern California semifinals appearances.
Marist teammate McKinley Fox has come off the bench to produce 89 assists, 50 digs and eight aces as a freshman.
Last year Fox lead Santa Catalina to a second straight 27-0 start and a CCS DV title, compiling over 1,500 assists in her career.
