Former Stevenson four-sport standout Jensen Main has transferred to Sacramento State after two years as a pitcher for the University of New Mexico softball team.
The right-handed hurler was given her release from her softball scholarship, enabling her to pitch immediately next spring for the Hornets.
In two seasons at New Mexico, Jensen won 15 games and recorded 100 strikeouts. She also hit .358 last spring in 14 at bats with a homer and seven runs batted in.
Jensen was The Herald’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2016, and a four-time member of The Herald’s All-County softball team.
