Then again, that's what the non-conference season is all about.
Hartnell welcomed the return of former Salinas High standout Kyle Vasher, who has missed the last two years while on a Mormon Mission.
The 6-foot-5 Vasher has provided points on the perimeter and in the paint through the teams first 10 games, leading the team during the non-conference season at just over 20 points a game.
Jacob Juras has become another option for the Panthers, averaging 13 points a game, shooting 66 percent from beyond the arc in the teams first five games
