Stevenson hoops XVII

Quietly the Pirates have made eight straight Central Coast Section Division IV playoff appearances.
Keeping that streak alive will mean a lot of new faces coming together as one during the Mission Trail Athletic League season.
 Stevenson lost its three leading scorers to graduation.
 Then again, those were the only seniors that saw significant minutes last year for the Pirates.
 Ten players are back, including Matt Chodosh, who averaged over eight points a game last year as a sophomore and over 18 points a game in the preseason this year.
 The Pirates have some shooters on the perimeter, including Jack Burgess, who led the team in 3-point goals last season.
