Girls hoops projected finishes

MTAL
1. Santa Catalina: Kylie Mosses is a double-double machine with a supporting cast.
2. Carmel: Amber Clark put the team on her shoulders in the preseason.
3. Pacific Grove: Spent the preseason developing chemistry on the court.
4. King City: Could be the surprise team in the MTAL.
5. Greenfield: No one gets more out of their program than head coach John Radcliff.
6. Soledad: Had the longest winning streak among MTAL teams in the preseason (4).
7. Stevenson: Will be one of the most improved teams in the county this year.
8. Gonzales: Growing pains for the Spartans.

MBL
Gabilan Division
1. North Salinas: The defending champs won their last eight league games last season.
2. Christopher: Never count out a Heather Stewart coached team.
3. Monte Vista: My sleeper team in the Gabilan Division.
4. Salinas: Jumped out of the gates by winning its first four games.
5. Notre Dame: The Spirits held four teams under 35 points in the preseason.
6. Seaside: Injuries have created concerns for the start of league play.
7. San Benito: Struggled in the preseason with the loss of two starters to injuries.

MBL
Pacific Division
1. Alisal: Natalia Castro torched teams in the preseason.
2. North County: Can the Condors find a compliment to Samantha Flores?
3. Gilroy: Won its own tournament in December.
4. Alvarez: Can the success of the volleyball team get contagious on the hardwood?
5. Monterey: Has already surpassed last year's entire win total.
6. Pajaro Valley: Two players produced more than half of the teams offense in the preseason.
7. Watsonville: Won two of its final three preseason games.
