If the Lobos are going to be a contender this year in the Coast Conference, they'll need big minutes and production from former Seaside standout Donovan Salvant and Alvarez grad Mitchell Wood.
Salvant is a slasher that can sizzle from the perimeter while the 6-foot-8 Wood provides points in the paint, as well as the ability to drain a jump shot.
Freshman Caleb Wood and Devin Koeplin have been nice additions this season for MPC, averaging a combined 25.1 points a game.
Holdovers Ivo Basor, Shaun Hall and Brandon Hanson provide depth off the bench for the Lobos, who opened the non-conference season averaging 78 points a game.
Hanson had 18 points off the bench in a game earlier this year.
