The former Palma High and Hartnell College point guard leads the Banvit Kulubu Basketball team in Turkey in scoring and assists this winter.
Rowland, who has spent the last eight seasons playing professional basketball in Europe, is averaging a team high 15.1 points and 3.7 assists a game.
The 6-foot-2 guard is also pulling down nearly four rebounds a night for Banvit, who is off to a 13-1 start this season.
Rowland led Hartnell to a spot in the state tournament in 2003 and St. Mary's College to an NCAA tournament appearance in 2005.
