The 1990 Palma High graduate is leaving Utah State to take the defensive coordinator's position at the University of Hawaii.
Clune has spent the last five years at Utah State as a linebackers coach, turning the Aggies into one of the top defensive units in the nation over the last two years.
Clune had served as a defensive coordinator at Weber State for four years and Southern Utah prior to that. He's a former linebacker/defensive end at Palma and the University of San Diego.
