Defending Central Coast Section Division IV boys champion Seaside will be the favorites to defend their title on Saturday at the CCS finals at Crystal Springs in Belmont

Individually, MTAL champion Edgar Bonilla of King City is the favorite in Division IV boys, while MBL champion James Welsh of Monterey will chase an individual title in Division III.
Defending Division V girls champion Santa Catalina is in Division IV this season, which is stacked with San Lorenzo Valley among the elite teams in the state.
The Cougars will be in the hunt along with Mission Trail Athletic League champion Pacific Grove, who is led by freshmen Christina Hashimoto.
Individually, the Cougars Lizzy Tardieu is aiming at a return trip to the state meet along with Notre Dame's Alex Lathos, Greenfield's Jocelyn Sosa and Carmel's Maddie McKenzie.
