Originally scheduled for Saturday, the two teams will meet tonight in the quarterfinals at 'The Corral' in Salinas.
The reigning three-time league champion Cowboys are four years removed from having played for a State Division I title. During that magical run, they beat Carlmont in the semifinals.
Runner ups in the Peninsula Bay Athletic League, the Scots have five players that platoon at the net that stand 5-10 or taller.
Salinas used part of the Gabilan Division season to get reacquainted with each other with the return of Maddy Mandon and addition of transfer Raleigh McKinney.
Setter Erin Reineking has been a mark of stability for the Cowboys, who swept nine of their 12 league opponents.
