I love how Palma juggled the brackets in its annual basketball tournament.
Mitty and St. Mary's of Berkeley -- two state powers -- along with Alisal in one bracket and Palma in the other.
Hey, can you blame them?
Mitty and St. Mary's -- likely the two best teams in the tournament -- faced off in the opener. Alisal gets Mitty tonight in a losers bracket game.
Palma gets an improved Pajaro Valley squad tonight after beating Seaside Thursday.
Ideally, you want the two best teams in the championship. Then again, if they're from out of the county, does anyone really care?
