There are two ways you can look at Herm Edwards' future with the Chiefs.
1. He's on his way out the door after general manager Carl Peterson, the man that hired him, resigned.
2. Or it is Edwards, whom the Chiefs choose to keep instead of Peterson.
You see it is believed that Peterson encouraged Edwards not to blow up the team after the Chiefs surprisingly went to the postseason in 2006.
Keeping the oldest team in the NFL intact for one year was a disaster. And now the franchise is paying the price while Edwards attempts to rebuild it.
That portion is complete. Now will Edwards reap the rewards of his 17-plus hour work days to move this franchise forward.
