Three things stick out in Salinas' 49-28 postseason loss to Wilcox.
The opening drive in which Wilcox scored on the game's second play on a 72-yard touchdown run.
A 98-yard drive by Wilcox after Salinas failed to get into the end zone on four plays inside its own 5-yard line.
And the two turnovers that led to a pair of Wilcox touchdowns.
Erase that and this is a different game.
Of course, Salinas wasn't suppose to be in this position in the first place.
What a building block for next fall for a team loaded with juniors. And what a legacy this year's senior class is leaving in terms of laying a foundation for the future.
