football picks

No rhyme or reason.
But perfection for the fourth time this year sometimes sucks, because just two teams remain in the football playoffs.
Salinas vs. Wilcox
No one expected Salinas to advance and I couldn't understand why. Apparently several of you got caught up in Andrew Hill's 10-0 record.
Wilcox is similar to Salinas. An advantage to Wilcox with its passing game. But the Cowboys will be able to move the ball. If it comes down to special teams, an edge to Salinas. Pick: Salinas.
Monterey vs. Palo Alto
The Toreadores are riding a wave of emotion, having beaten Seaside for the first time in eight years and following that up with a win over Leland.
Palo Alto is a much more physical team. It has made a habit out of knocking local teams out of the playoffs the last two years. And 2006, it played in the Medium School State Championship after winning the CCS Open Division title.
Palo Alto humbled Leigh 48-0 last week. What better way to send coach Pete Noble out than with a shot at a CCS title
Monterey will miss speedster Joel Kemper. Pick. Palo Alto.
