The former Salinas High basketball standout is averaging 22.5 minutes a game for the BC Cactus Tbilisi basketball team in the Georgian League in the country of Georgia.
Since his arrival, the 6-foot-9 power forward is second on the team in rebounds at 6.7 and fifth in scoring at 7.8, shooting nearly 53 percent from the field.
Rogers, who led Salinas to its last league title in 2011, led San Jose State in scoring and rebounding during his senior season in 2016. Last year he played in the NBA’s G-League in Greensboro.
