Senior libero Lizzy Tardieu has surpassed her career totals in one season for the nationally ranked University of San Diego volleyball team.
Tardieu, who came into the season with 322 career digs, went into the weekend with 323 digs this season, averaging 4.23 digs a set. She has also set career marks for assists (80) and services aces (13) this season.The Herald’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2014 at Santa Catalina, Tardieu earned all-league honors in volleyball, cross country and track for the Cougars, reaching the state cross country championships as a junior.
