Mason Foster

Seaside High grad Mason Foster had shoulder surgery and will be out for the rest of the season for the Washington Redskins.

Now in his seventh season in the NFL, the 6-foot-2, 240-pound inside linebacker was second on the Redskins in tackles before the injury. His interception against the Rams sealed the win.
Over seven seasons between Tampa Bay and Washington, Foster has compiled 528 tackles, 7 1/2 sacks and six interceptions in his career.
The 28-year-old quarterbacked Seaside to the programs first Central Coast Section Divisional football title in 2006.
