The Warriors are looking to make amends after watching a 16-point lead become a 29-16 defeat in their season opener last week to reigning eight-man bowl champion Rincon Valley.
First year programs are always a mystery and the Mustangs will be no different, although falling 52-12 to Calistoga singles growing pains.
Minus two season opening losses, Trinity has posted a 32-5 record over the last four years. During that stretch, it has not dropped back-to-back games
Sophomore quarterback Nick Furman had a touchdown pass to Cameron Hill last week for Trinity while Chris Wright rushed for a touchdown.
Last year Wright rushed for 608 yards and eight touchdowns for Trinity while Hill caught 14 passes as a freshman.
