Salinas-Christopher girls water polo

 Often a move into the Gabilan Division -- in any sport -- comes with growing pains.
 The Cowboys are still looking for that first Gabilan win tonight when they visit Christopher.
 Yet, a 2-1 season opening loss was something to build off.
 Which is exactly what Salinas did last weekend, going 3-1 in a tournament in Fresno.
 Nothing has come easy for the Cowboys. They have two losses by a total of three goals and three wins by four, three and two goals.
 Sophomore Samantha Reich isn't flying under the radar this season after producing 69 goals and 90 steals last fall in earning the Pacific Division MVP.
 Through five games, she has nine goals and eight steals while Alison O'Dell has recorded 35 saves in the cage.
 Christopher has already matched last year's win total in the Gabilan Division. One of its non-league wins last season came against Salinas.
