Greenfield football

There's no explanation. No answers. No logic.
The Bruins can't win at home.
On the road, Greenfield has been flat out filthy, averaging 48 points a game. Yet, at home it's winless in three games, having scored a total of 27 points.
So how do you reverse the curse?
I suppose the Bruins could get on a bus before this Friday's home game with Santa Cruz and cruise the Greenfield strip.
It could ditch the home uniforms and go with the road uniforms if you're superstitious. King City did that a couple of years ago -- the uniform change that is. Didn't work.
You can make the argument that the caliber of competition has been better at home. Soledad is the reigning CCS Division IV champions. The other two losses are to teams a combined 9-3.
Perhaps a bigger concern than the wins or losses is how Greenfield has played at home, having been outscored 118-27 -- all 27 points coming in the second half.
At some point, you start to wonder is it in their heads. Home is your domain. At some point, pride has to replace nervous tension and anxiety.
