Christopher-North County football

Friday's game
North County (1-4) at Christopher (5-0), 7:30 p.m.
There is a pattern developing here each time Christopher returns to the Pacific Division. Dating back to its last appearance in 2014, it has won 11 straight league games.
In three years in the Pacific Division, the Cougars are 15-3. In three seasons in the Gabilan Division, they were 2-16, having dropped 12 straight before being moved back to the Pacific this fall.
Connor O'Callaghan has been sharp in two starts, completing over 80 percent of his passes for 294 yards and six touchdowns.
Christopher has scored 40 or more points in its last three games, having defeated a reigning league champion and a team that reached the Open Division III semifinals last fall.
The Condors are closing out an 18-game road trip that dates back to 2015, as their newly renovated stadium will be ready on Oct. 6.
Producing points has been difficult for North County, who has been outscored 157-14 in four losses this fall.
Joseph Bertao has four of the teams six touchdowns this season -- three coming in the Condors one win.
