The former Stevenson tennis standout has been named the team captain for the second year in a row for the Loyola Marymount women’s tennis team.
Last year Romeka was the No. 4 singles player and No. 2 doubles team for Loyola.
The junior was also chosen by the West Coast Conference to be the female representative for the upcoming leadership conference in October.
Romeka was a Mission Trail Athletic League doubles champion as a freshman, and the league singles champion her junior and senior years, reaching the Central Coast Section doubles finals in 2010.
