The former Pacific Grove multi-sport standout started all spring at second baseman for Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, which won the SCIAC tournament softball title before falling in the DIII regional title game in Spokane.
Grobecker hit .282 for the Athenas, scoring 20 runs while walking 12 times in 46 games. She hit .297 in conference.As senior at Pacific Grove in 2014, Grobecker was named to The Herald’s All-County basketball and softball teams.
