Transfer Annie Aldrete has helped the Cal softball team reach the NCAA Regionals, leading the team in home runs with seven.

Having started 48 of the teams 50 games, the junior catcher is second on the Bears in runs batted in (30) and walks (26), while hitting .265.
Behind the dish, Aldrete sports a .993 fielding percentage, having handled 304 of 306 chances.
Aldrete spent her first two seasons at Tennessee, where she was the NCAA co-Freshman of the Year.
A three-sport standout at Santa Catalina, Aldrete is Monterey County’s all-time home run leader.
