Division V girls hoops

For Notre Dame, it's a rematch of last year's CCS Division V title game with St. Francis Catholic, a 68-60 loss.
The Spirits were impressive in a playoff opening 49-6 win on Thursday, in which they held Crystal Springs scoreless in the first and fourth quarters.
Katie Zernicke has been the Spirits (15-9) leading scorer all season with contributions coming from Kate Lathos and Aly Gomonet.
The defending CCS Division V champion Sharks (14-8), who have wins this year over Salinas, San Benito and North County, are lead by Janiay Sevilla and Shelby Robinett.
Stevenson's reward for going 20-3 this year as a No. 4 seed and a week off as it gears up for No. 5 Alam Heights this afternoon at Del Mar High.
Sophomore sensation Ambreece Gaskins has done it all this year for the Pirates, leading the team in points, steals and assists.
Fauve Koontz has been a double-double machine in the Mission Trail Athletic League for Stevenson while golf standout Antonia Malate has given them another scoring option on the outside.
