The sophomore libero continues to get increased playing time off the bench for the University of San Diego volleyball team, compiling 128 digs in 27 matches this year.
The 5-foot-4 Tardieu is fourth on the team in digs. She also has 36 assists and six service aces for the Toreros, who just fell out of the Top 25 after being nationally ranked for six weeks.
Tardieu was The Herald's Female Athlete of the Year in 2013 at Santa Catalina, where she was a four-time all-leaguer in volleyball. She also went to the state meet in cross country.
