Bradshaw Christian-Notre Dame volleyball

Tuesday's match
State Northern California Division V Tournament
No. 6 Bradshaw Christian ( 22-16) at No. 3 Notre Dame (31-5), 7 p.m.
The only team to beat the Pride in the last month has been Sac Joaquin Section champion Vacaville Christian -- twice.
Bradshaw Christian had rattled off six straight wins before falling in the title match to their league nemesis.
The reigning two-time Central Coast Section Division V champion Spirits will have to be aware of the Pride's Larissa Lenkiewicz, who has 287 kills this season.
The Spirits weren't really tested in the postseason, sweeping all three opponents in matches that took less than 65 minutes to complete.
Notre Dame, who swept Bradshaw Christian last season in the opening round of the tournament, was just 2-2 this year in matches that went beyond three sets.
Gabilan Division Player of the Year Nikki DeSerpa has put down 322 kills this year with teammate Kate Lathos compiling 191.
Defense has dominated play in the playoffs for the Spirits with Jennifer Lane and Adeline Laughton getting their hands on a number of balls at the net, and libero Mikeila Banda cleaning the floor.
Notre Dame, who came within one win of reaching the state finals last year, comes into the match with 245 aces, 58 from setter Julia Scattini.
