Alicia Borges has put up sick numbers for Vacaville Christian with 370 kills, averaging 4.2 kills per set. The 5-foot-11 senior also has 354 digs.
As a team, the Falcons have 458 service aces this year, 83 from Elyse Gottschall, who also leads the team in blocks with 57.
The Falcons have a pair of 5-11 outside hitters and a 6-1 middle. But they do not have a distinctive size advantage over Santa Catalina.
The Mission Trail Athletic League champion Cougars have lost four matches all season -- two from CCS champion Notre Dame.
Freshman Maria Santos has become a fixture at the net for Santa Catalina, along with 5-9 McKinley Fox and Tatumn Satow.
Fox has platooned at the setters position with Amanda Borchers, while sophomore Olivia Satow has solidified the back row as a libero.
