David Fales

The arm is fine. The accuracy never better.
Add confidence to David Fales' portfolio.
The second year Bears quarterback eased a few minds on Thursday, completing 14-of-18 passes for 131 yards and two touchdowns before sitting out the fourth quarter.
The former Palma High and MPC quarterback is listed as the No. 3 quarterback. But with Jimmy Clausen dealing with a concussion, Fales could be Jay Cutler's backup in the season opener.
Fales, who drifted between the practice squad and 53-man roster last year, showed off the accuracy that helped him set numerous passing records at San Jose State.
He even displayed his mobility, scrambling for six yards to keep a drive alive in the first quarter against Cleveland.
Granted, Fales was torching defenders that were fighting for jobs on Thursday. But he ran the Bears offense with efficiently. He had command of the huddle.
