Cabrillo-Hartnell football

Saturday's game
Cabrillo (1-2) vs. Hartnell (3-0) at Rabobank, 6 p.m.
A week after the Panthers rolled Redwoods 48-7, Cabrillo fell last week up in Eureka 49-40 in a shootout.
Both teams are struggling to run the ball as the Seahawks are averaging 1.6 yards per carry while the Panthers are slightly better at 3.9 yards.
Hartnell got a lift with the return of Marcus Washington, who had a rushing touchdown in his first game back last week.
Justyn Gutierrez is completing nearly 64 percent of his passes for the Panthers, having thrown for 851 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Ronnie Turners has 21 catches and five touchdowns for Hartnell while Eppy Henrigues is a nice complement on the other side with 14 catches.
Rishad Goode has been Cabrillo's best defender with two interceptions and eight breakups. He also leads the team in tackles.
Defensively, Sergio Guzman, Hildelv Manzur and Justin Pleasont have combined for 53 tackles and six sacks for Hartnell while Reggie McGee has five sacks by himself.
