Monterey Peninsula College will be honoring teams from the past on Sept. 12 before the Lobos host Los Medanos in football.
Among the teams being honored include the 1977, 1982 and 1983 State Division II champion volleyball teams, the 1980, 1982 and 1983 State Division II champion women’s tennis teams, and the 1971 Coast Conference champion baseball team.
The event will begin with a 3 p.m. barbecue at the MPC Dance Studio. Admission is $30 and includes a ticket to the game. Go to www.mcpfoundation.org/alumnibbq.
