Jimmy Hill

 Former Monterey High catcher Jimmy Hill was named to the Junior College All-American baseball team at Santa Barbara City College.
 Hill, who is being courted by Nebraska, was also named to the all-state and all-region teams and was the conference's Player of the Year.
