Back for a second year in the Frontier League for Washington, Pa., the outfielder is hitting .244 with one homer, having scored a team high 18 runs for the Wild Things.
Last year Poma hit .308 for the Pennsylvania-based club, with 30 stolen bases. He had 96 hits in 81 games, scored 52 runs and drove in 32.
Poma, a Monterey High grad, was originally drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks after a record-breaking college career at Hofstra.
