Candidates for Athlete of the Year

Tatumn Satow, Santa Catalina

 A member of The Herald’s All-County team in volleyball and softball, Satow was the MTAL co-Player of the Year in softball along with Stevenson’s Jensen Main.

Hitting in the No. 3 spot for the MTAL champion Cougars, Satow drove in 36 runs in 23 games while hitting over .400, with nearly half of her hits going for extra bases.
A natural libero in volleyball, Satow moved to the outside last fall as a junior to fill a need, leading the team in kills as a 5-foot-3 hitter.
She also led Santa Catalina in service aces, while providing depth in the back row on rotation.
