The former Pacific Grove hurler made the most of his eight appearances this past spring as a true freshman for the UC Santa Barbara baseball team.
The right-handed hurler compiled a 3-0 record, earning a win in his first collegiate start. Clements struck out 10 in 16 innings of work, finishing with a 2.16 earned run average.
