Alvarez softball

At some point, you have to take the blindfolds off.
And if you still have doubts, you're not paying attention
Alvarez is building something special. More importantly, it's a team that's capable of contending in the Pacific Division, which begins today, when it hosts Monte Vista.
Having already surpassed last year's entire win total, the Eagles have signature non-league wins over Carmel and Salinas.
 It's not a fluke.
Angelina Ruiz and Mia Pinedo are spraying the ball all over the field while Irene Villa has shown some power at the plate, as well as a solid arm in the circle.
When Villa isn't throwing strikes, Giana Deleon has shut down opponents, as the pair provide a nice combination.
The last time Alvarez (8-2) had a winning season was in 2006. Ironically, that's the last time it won a league title -- the programs only championship.
