Michael Armstead's role will increase this year as a playmaker and spot-up shooter. So will Matthew Wright's role in the post.
While Armstead is the only returning starter, the senior is surrounded by a talented core of shooters, including sophomore Kobe Ordonio and junior Andrew Wirtz.
Ordonio showed off his jumper at a tournament earlier this year, scoring the teams first 16 points on four 3-point goals.
How quickly the Toreadores develop chemistry on the court will dictate their future. This could be a team you don't want to play in the second half of the season.
