Boys basketball preview XVI

Salinas
There is a lot of athleticism out there with a balance of basketball talent.
Salinas might be the most complete team in terms of being able to generate points inside and on the perimeter.
Most of the attention is paid to LaRon Logwood and with good reason. An MVP in one tournament this season, the 6-foot-4 senior is a force on the floor.
Yet, the Cowboys are a team that played tenacious defense in the preseason, holding their first four opponents this season under 50 points.
Nat Hunsdorfer is one of the more underrated players in the county. The 6-4 water polo specialist is a beast on the boards.
On the perimeter, Willie Gray has improved his play along with sophomore guard Tim Harper, while Richard Torres is a sharpshooter that can light up a gym quickly.
