Notre Dame-Presentation volleyball

 It's not so much a gauge as it is a learning curve.
 While the last five meetings have been one-sided, it hasn't kept the Spirits from getting on the floor  with Presentation of San Jose.
 And why not?
 Notre Dame won't see a better program this year as the Panthers are ranked No. 7 in the state at 11-2 coming into tonight's battle in Salinas.
 Four years ago, Presentation won the CIF State Division II title.
 While not overly big, Presentation is athletic with depth, as four players are averaging two or more kills per game.
 The Spirits (8-1) attack revolves around Emily Cunanan and Nikki DeSerpa while Adeline Laughton has provided a presence in the middle with her defense.
