Gonzales football

The last time Gonzales scored 50 or more points in a game was in 2003 when it went to the playoffs.
Now lets not get ahead of ourselves.
The Spartans just snapped a 17-game losing streak.
Gonzales hasn't had a winning season since 2003.
Yet, inserting Chrystian Harrigan at quarterback lit a fire under Gonzales, who produced 55 points in a 44 point win over St. Francis Catholic.
Harrigan is a playmaker with his right arm and legs, tossing three touchdown passes and rushing for a pair. He averaged 15.3 yards per carry and 20.1 yards per completion.
The big thing with Gonzales, though, is an attitude adjustment. The seniors on this squad set out to change the culture, lay the foundation for the future and be a part of the solution.
This is a start in the right direction.
