Softball playoff chase

Will six teams make the postseason out of the Gabilan Division?
 Five qualified last year, with all five reaching the quarterfinals in their respective divisions, and three taking home Central Coast Section titles.
 Five teams currently have a .500 or better overall record. And that doesn't include reigning Division II champion Gilroy, which sits in third in the Gabilan Division.
 Five teams are tied for first in the Mission Trail Athletic League. But no more than four will make the postseason. Three might come out of the Pacific Division.
 Coaches make sure you fill out paper work. That cost two teams a playoff spot last year.
