Alisal track invite

The last invitational of the spring takes center stage on Saturday with the annual Alisal Invitational.
Close to 20 schools and 500 plus athletes will compete in the meet. For some, it will be their last chance to compete in a high caliber meet prior to the league championships in two weeks.
Alisal's track has traditionally produced fast marks in the 100, 200 and 110 high hurdles, which can be confidence builders heading into the league track finals.
Looking for a little wind will be the top two discus throwers in the CCS in Salinas' Chelsea Andrade and North County's Tori Teraji.
Raymond Silver, a state meet participant last year in the high jump for Watsonville, has soared 6-7 this spring.
North Salinas' Mario Gonzalez is the class of the field in the boys shot put and discus while Alisal's Omar Guzman will look to drop time in both hurdles races.
Seaside's Tatiana Lee will chase titles in the 200 and 400.
