Alisal boys track

Too often track and field is looked upon as an individual sport.
We forget that team titles are at stack.
Alisal has put together arguably its best boys season in 30 years. It's 4-0-1 in the Gabilan Division with one meet remaining against unbeaten Palma.
 This doesn't happen without numerous contributors.
 Alisal has been involved in three meets decided by two points or less. In other words, every point has counted this season.
 One athlete can't carry a team in track, although Alisal has had big days from hurdler Omar Guzman, and sprinter Eduardo Valencia.
 The Trojans have perhaps a half dozen athletes that potentially could move on to the Central Coast Section Trials.
 But together, this is a unit capable of making a title run.
