There is no disputing Alvarez's place in the programs 17 year history.
The prize -- as in league title -- has been secured. And the Eagles have it all to themselves.
 Completing its first ever undefeated league season, Alvarez also tied the single-season school record for wins with nine.
 Remember, the Eagles were winless last year and hadn't posted a winning season in 11 years.
 Alvarez has won with defense and offense, in the waning seconds, and in comeback fashion.
 The playoffs are two weeks off.
 Nothing like a pop quiz to prepare the Eagles for the postseason when they host Monterey this coming Friday.
 This is a playoff tuneup for both teams. The only difference is neither turns in uniforms after the game.
