This has not been the season the Bruins envisioned.
But for one game, the expectations Greenfield had before the year started surfaced.
An offense that had scored just 32 points in its last 20 quarters, ran up 40 points in a four-point win over Gonzales.
Where has this been all season?
Well, it was there during the first two quarters of their season opener when the Bruins produced 20 points.
Still, I can't help but wonder if failing to hold a 20-point second half lead back on Sept. 6 didn't carry over into the next five weeks.
It doesn't really matter now.
The Bruins have a win.
This isn't just about this year anymore. The final three games are about the future of the program and building momentum into next season.
