Soledad-North Salinas football

Friday's game
Soledad (2-0) vs. North Salinas (0-2) at Rabobank Field, 7:30 p.m.
The next time Soledad plays a home game is Nov. 1, as it begins a run of five straight road games.
The Aztecs have clearly been a second half team through their first two games, outscoring opponents 24-0 in the fourth quarter.
For as dynamic as junior quarterback Fernando Longoria was with his arm last season, his legs have done more damage to date this fall.
The combination of quarterback Justyn Gutierrez and flanker David Dorr has been lethal for North Salinas, as the pair have hooked up 13 time this year.
The running game, however, has been sporadic at best.
While Soledad's defense is a big reason why it's off to its first 2-0 start since 2001, the opposite holds true for the Vikings, who have given up 92 points.
