Nothing surprised me about Salinas on Friday at the Jamboree. It looks like a team ready to take that next step after five straight CCS Division I semifinal appearances.
The Cowboys came out and produced a touchdown on their opening drive. It smacked people around on defense.
Their depth was evident as backups got a chance to show the coaching staff they can play as well. If this team remains humble, it's going to be a special year.
