The new uniforms weren't all that got your attention at Friday's Salinas Jamboree.
Quarterback Edrick Gamble is going to be special. Whether by design or necessity, opponents could not tackle him when he left the pocket.
 Yet, what got my attention were the two touchdown passes he tossed to go along with a 45-yard run. Gamble has given this offense a shot in the arm.
 Granted jamborees can be misleading. But this was a confidence builder for the Eagles. You could see it on the sidelines in their demeanor.
