The Pirates became the fourth program in the history of Monterey County to win a state team title when they captured the CIF State golf championships on Wednesday.
The last program to bring home a state team title was Carmel in 2003 when it won the State Division IV boys cross country title.
 In 1993, North Salinas shared the State boys track team title while Palma won the State Division IV boys basketball championship in 1992.
