Football practice may not officially begin until Aug. 16.
But here are a few upcoming camps worth nothing.
Monterey will take part in the Wilcox Passing Camp on June 29 at Wilcox High in Santa Clara.
Close to 20 schools are expected to compete in the Carmel Passing Camp on July 20.
Monterey, North Salinas, Sobrato, Windward, Resdea and host Pacific Grove will take part in the Dave Humphers Defensive Camp July 25-27 at Pacific Grove High.
